Portugal have been drawn in the very difficult World Cup Group G, which includes Brazil, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and Korea DPR (North Korea). Portugal begin their group stage on 15th June 2010 in Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth against the Ivory Coast. They should win their next match which is against North Korea on 21st June in Cape Town. However, Portugal face a very difficult tie against Brazil on 25th June in Durban, so the Portuguese will be hoping to have already secured qualification to the World Cup second round before this fixture takes place.
